Korea

Maybe I should explain why I like Korea.
A lot of people always assume that when young people like myself have a feeling towards a country, it's always because some girls/boys are included.
Or when you say you like a band or a singer it is not because of their music but because of their looks.
I really want to clear this.. this.. prejudice.

Of course, I was brought into the Korean atmosphere by SNSD's Genie, which developed into a love of Korean music, mostly brought under the name of Kpop.
Though Kpop, with its flashiness and good looks, is not even all the Korean music I like.
I like to listen to older Korean music too, traditional stuff and such.
This is all because I have thing for the language.
I like how no matter what you say, no matter who says it, it always has this kinda atmosphere behind it.
During my philosophy classes I learned that language isn't just what you say, it's the way you act too, it's a culture.
There is no language in which I see this more than Korean.

The culture in Korea, South Korea, I find fascinating.
The respect they show - or used to show, since I heard that people show less and less respect nowadays - towards other people and the nature, how thankful they are for things, their food..

Then there is the history.
The economical history, the history of the languages.
And of course how Korea divided into South and North Korea.
The last one is one I want to know more about.
How come one country gets into a war with itself?
And how come they are still like this today?
Stuff like that.

There is really more to Korea than just the music and the tv shows.
At least there is for me.

Someone help me please.

I wrote this loooooooooooooooooooooong love letter in witch I confess my love to my crush. And now I just put it in the mailbox and I want it back. As a first, that person ain't gonna love me back the way I want it. Secondly, I think I am not ready for a no. Of course, it's allowed to say no, but seeing my emotional status right now, I don't think it will be taken too well. And last, there's so many grammar and spelling mistakes in it, not to mention the differences between what I wanted to write and what I actually wrote, it's not perfect and I want it to be perfect. If I am going to do this, it has to be perfect.
